Last year's summer was hellishly hot, one 10 day stretch in July was a high over 100 every day, and that was part of a 20 day stretch where the high was no lower than 95. Add in the disgusting midwest humidity, and that was a summer of hell.
Our local weather forcasters were contrasting last July with this July, July 10 last year, it was 106, the same day this year, 84.
