I'm just curious. Can certain comic books be considered erotic or pornographic?--in the classic sense? I've seen some erotic comics that I would consider classical erotica. But maybe they're not considered erotic in the classic sense. I don't know--I'm just asking.

The book "No Water for Elephants" mentions erotic comics several times. I can't remember now what they're called but, they had a name. Apparently they were usually crudely drawn pages, 8 or 10 in number, of a short erotic story. I think it's almost like flash fiction done in pictures.

Well, there are actually some artits who are drawing erotic and pornographic comics in an old style. But there are quite new. The oldest sort of this kinda stuff was first createded in the 1930s. In former centuries there were only lonly pictures and paintings. And of course erotic literature. There is a pretty good book that gives you an excellent overview including pictures, photographes, paintings and some lines of different books and classics. It also is about every kind of sexuality. From straight to gay, from anal to vaginal and oral and also incest and beastiality. The book is called "Erotikon".

Cause it`s like a lexicon and has an historic and scientific value, you can buy it uncencored from amazon.
