Okay, wrote another two poems this morning.

Warning: Thought better say this in case, as some may see them as disturbing I guess but enjoy them for what they are anyway.

Ugliness

When I look in the mirror, what do I see...
A freak, someone ugly, looking back at me...
Sticks and stones, words of hatred I have heard in my life...
Scars on my arms, from that bloody knife...
Someone to love, someone to care about...
But no one for me I always figure out...
Its not whats inside, that people always see...
Its the ugliness outside, that scares you and me.

My Angel

Everyday I see her walk past...
Each moment I pray for longer it will last...
Those curves, those hips that swing side to side...
Those long legs, that pace, in her stride...

Eyes so mesmerizing, puts you in a trance...
For those daring enough, to speak and take a chance...
She turns her head, and glances across at me...
A soft smile upon ruby lips, that I did see...

She stops, steps across, and asks if I'm okay...
As I sit below, the large tree that does sway...
Her hand caresses my face, soft in it's touch...
As I look in her eyes, and sense this is too much...

Tears begin to fall, water drips down my face...
I begin to realize, I was never meant to live in this place...
She helps me rise up, holds me in her arms...
Telling me softly, I will not come to any harm...

A light beams down from above, shining brightly upon me...
A loud voice bellows out, leave him, he's not meant to be...
She speaks on my behalf, begs for me to be taken in...
But I am not meant for heaven, I am Gods immortal sin...

Suffering and pain, torture and scars...
As I look up, at the world full of stars...
The voice bellows out, stay if you will...
But you cannot return to us, as I sense a cold chill...

The ground around me, begins to open wide...
As I look at this Angel, who begins to cry...
I wipe the tears from her face, and tell her she's not to blame...
I was created for this world, to bring immortal shame...

I kiss her goodbye, and tell the voice to take her back...
As she fades into the sky, and I look down to pitch black...
Hell is my home, where people like me belong...
As I sit in my cell each night, singing my song...

The song I wrote for her, this beautiful Angel I met...
She tried to save me from Hell, before saying our final farewell...
One thing the Devil can never take, is pride of what I did...
I saved an Angel before I came below, and that was forbid...

So i stand here and take it, knowing she watches over me still...
As lashes of whips, slash my skin as it breaks, until...
She appears to me, as I take each thrashing pain...
Smiles at me, knowing one day we'll be together again......

These are powerful poems, full of painful images. It almost hurts to read them.

Thanks April. :)

Thanks Brigit for your comments, means a lot. Especially love the term 'full of painful images', as thats what I try to get across, that emotional connection to what you read.

I like writing poems sometimes, mostly when I am feeling down about life and stuff, I think it comes out the strongest then with the words and descriptions that appear in my mind.

Id say the 1st poem is a very deep emotional one, and I guess one that is very personal in how it's described of feelings at times.
The 2nd is just one I loved writing with the thought of Angels and Heaven & Hell and not fitting in the world.
