Been feeling shitty last few days, and wrote these, enjoy :(

The Silence!

The silence is what I hear every day
Unbroken sounds of whispers being spoke from a distance
Voices of those I long to hear, yet are always so far away
A sound, a smash, or even a hello from a stranger to make the pain go away
Yet each day returns to the beginning
Like a never ending circle of unforgiving torment

Beauty & The Beast

From that first vision, the beauty apeared before this beast
Bringing light, hope, and tenderness that broke down the barrier around it's heart
A block, a wall of pain and suffering that had grown across the centuries
The first touch, the first smile of forgiveness and love that created new hope
That sense of shame, of self pity slowly began to melt away
But unlike in fairytales... This tale does not have a happy ending
For the beauty became the beast, and the beast became angry
For she used her beauty to bring forth hatred inside the beast
And he rose, and fell from afar to his own demise
As the beauty smiled, and sensed the fulfillment of destroying the creature
The creature who had a heart, caring and used for beauty's own enjoyment and pleasure
For the beauty was in truth the beast, and the beast had beauty hidden within
Appearances in truth, can be deceiving...

These poems are well-written. Do you ever write any "light" poems?

Not bad ... Hope you mood and feelings improve and things get better for you...
I know the down in the dumps well... I use a couple of hours on the range and I feel better...
Thanks for the posts... good work....

Thanks Brigit :) I'm not sure, I think I may have written 1 or 2, I'll have to have a look. Quite often I write dark sadly, and most comes from within of personal feelings of life, love, heaven and hell. :/

Here's a couple I found I did write, a while back :) Don't think posted them.

That Perfect Place

Close your eyes, and imagine a place
Of miracles and wonders, somewhere safe
Flowers are coloured, Red yellow green and blue
Of a rainbow cloud, in the sky you can view

The grass is green, and flows in the cool breeze
Leaves are growing, from the ten foot trees
Hills so tall, up into the skies
Leading up to heaven, the ultimate prize

Mirror Man

I see his face, but its not my own
What I see in the eyes is the unknown
That long hard stare, looking back at me
Unlocking my mind with his key

The face seems older, with short grey hair
Whispering words for me to beware
I reach out and touch with my own hand
Of this unknown reflection i dont understand

My hand touches the cold glass, as it rests in place
A vision hits me of my future disgrace
Of my pain and suffering to those in need
As I watch and laugh covered in money and greed

I open my eyes, to see the real me looking back
Of humanity and dignity in me, I so strongly lack
I have a chance to change, thanks to my friend inside
The mirror man who became my guide.....

And this is a poem I wrote one day when I heard about it being the 200th anniversary of the abolishment of the end of slave trade.

200 Chimes

These chains around my wrists
Of forgotten times that once did exist
Hard labour, pain and slavery times
Of men and women who committed no crimes

200 years of sorrow and pain
Those days which are being brought back again
Of children working, when they're too young
Of people dying, being hung

Because they do not look the same
Doesnt mean that we should all blame
Inside we're alike, thats what counts
The love for each other, in large amounts

Let's not go back down that route
We should speak together, not be mute
To stand side by side, with one another
No matter of religion or colour

So all together lets stand with pride
Stand with me, be by my side
Injustice in past, but not these times
200 bells, 200 chimes
