Casa de Chaos

Catching up and what's changed...

Rate this Entry
Casa de Chaos really deserves it's name now... :D

It's also the LAST place on earth anyone with a dram of sense or self-preservation instinct wants to try breaking into.
Seriously, it's safer to attack a military base. There's Husband, myself, and now Wanda--and Wanda is NOT dispositioned to giving an assailant even a faint wisp of a chance.

To short-form things, with explanation following...

Kittiehz arranged by Seniority: Georgina, Vesta, Luna, Essa, Eydis.

Doggieh: Achilles (Timber-shepherd/Husky mix, 8 months old and 80 Lbs and growing)

Women: Me, Brianna, Lhana, Fumiko, Mei-Xing, Tiffany, Wanda, Julia, Veronica, Stephanie

Tiffany, Julia, Veronica and Stephanie all came to the house because it was either take them in--or turn them away to the streets.
Tiffany's ex-'master' got WAY in over his head with 'moneylenders' one doesn't cheat.
Julia and Veronica came to Canada as mail-order brides (in the Lifestyle) and found out that it was all basically a scam, and turned to the Lifestyle community for help in a Desperate situation. SO, they found what they sought...long-way-around. BUT, they're Safe, happy, and passed the 'Cat Scans'.
Stephanie lost her master to a heart attack, sudden and without warning, and ended up on the WRONG side of a rather hard-line religious and intolerant pack of relatives who kicked her out of the house with nothing...and also tried to have her charged with murder for his death.

Because everyone else's houses were FULL from the problems created by the above mentioned mail-order bride scammery, we had no options but to take them in as turning them out to the streets WAS NOT an option.

Wanda...my 'Twin'... :D
Wanda and I...y'know how Twins are? Well, for some reason we have that too. Wanda's actually known Husband and John longer than I have and came to us when she realized that she'd managd to trap herself in a 'holding pattern' with the success of being a Pro Domme. She realized there was more to life, that she was missing out, and was sick of having nothing but work in her life.
And Wanda finally has what she always wanted--a Family. Her beginnings in life, frankly, pretty awful. BUT, she is no 'victim', and hates that word applied to her. She met the world, the streets, head-on, and made the world blink first.

SO...10 women, one vastly outnumbered Man, 5 Kittiehz, one Dog, :D
Whatever, we did the Right thing, we saved some lives, and our Home is the better for it.

And the Kittiehz LOVE playing 'Musical-Hooman' regarding Lap-Time. :D

I'm exhausted just reading about the changes in your world Marlene :o

You are a better woman than me, one small change and I am curled up in a corner and asking the universe why it likes to pick on me so much.... just kidding, I'm not quite that bad, but I wish I could just roll on and adjust as you and Martin do.

Achilles sounds beautiful. We adopted a Malamute last year and have learnt that everything we thought we knew about dogs, does not apply to him at all!! He is one big hairy ball full of attitude, that just seems to constantly "talk" and let you know that you are not doing what he wants when he wants it... I understand why they use these guys to pull sleds - taking him for a walk is a huge adventure

((HUG)) April, I know what you mean by it feeling like the univers likes to use one as a scratching post. If anyone does, it's Husband and myself. You know that powerplant project of ours? We've been taking nothing but flak, hostility and Threats over it because it's a major game-changer and some powerful people in the energy industry really don't want it going ahead.

Achilles is a pefect fit for the house, a definite Keeper, as is your puppy!! Malamutes, they are SO much personality and character in one big bundle of fur!! :D Sounds like he's doing his best to keep you smiling and making sure you get exercise! Achilles is a bit of a goof, but he's not full grown yet, and that just means he's happy, so all's fine with that. Also, he and the Kittiehz, they really do a great job pre-washing plates. :D Seriously, all the dishwasher does is clean off animal saliva and sterilize things. :D

Yeah, it's been a significant period of change around here, but at least we got really lucky in that everyone gets along with each other, genuinely likes each other--and dotes on the Kittiehz. :D We had NO choice in opening our door, and we don't regret the dcision whatsoever. For one thing, there's not such thing as 'empty water dish' for the animals anymore. LOL
Fumiko and Mei have come up with an origami-method of constructiong deployable solar panels...keeping in mind they have Zero background in engineering, but a small, functional prototype clearly showed the benefits of it for portable systems. The first was constructed of heavy paper from a sketchpad, but showed the concept clearly, then it just had to be duplicated in flexible plastic that was covered in hundreds of small solar cells like you see in solar-powered calculators.

All in all, our recently-expanded family is a good bunch. They're happy, they enjoy how Husband teaches them things by involving them, like electronics, cooking, some mechanical engineering and such, etc.. And we all feel VERY secure when Husband's away as there's so many eyes and ears listning for intruders/trouble and the like. There's benefits in both directions.
I guess it was just 'meant to be', although some warning from the universe woulda been nice. :D

And, with all the extra Hoomans around, it means if I need someone to keep one of the feline 'Helpers' amusd and such, it's not a problem.
Kittiehz, they LOVE to 'Help'....NOT so helpful, though. LOL

We've got 6 helper cats. They help me get up to feed them. Help change the sheets. Usually by getting under them.

Do your new ladies, practice the Way of Tea?

Well Comsmith, it's all fine, and Thank-You for the thought though!! The Universe, Life, whatever dropped it on us all and it was literally snap-decision time. But, it's all worked out, despite being stunningly unexpected. They're happy, safe, and spoiling the Kittiehz completely rotten.

Losing your House....I don't have words to say how sorry I am to hear that, or how furious I am with those who did such to you. I can say this however, now that we've started the application process for Financing our powerplant, we will be making sure to keep our Friends with us along for the ride.
Meaning, once the facility is built, we'll be doing what we can with the income generated from it to help out.
Maybe (depending on how you feel about it of course) even get you started with a powerplant yourself...good income, and electricity IS a Guaranteed Seller.
However, those who have moved against you and took your Home, will never even receive a harsh word from us--those who harm our friends are held in such contempt we won't even waste verbal vulagrity on them.
They'd also better stay out of our way, and cause no further upset for you. We side with our friends, even if it means siding with them vs. their own family.

As you know, we developed that technology and Open-Source Licensed it to HELP people, not cash-in on Royalties. We originally were thinking of folks in the slums and such in India and related places, but if our friends can directly benefit--then so much the better
The obama regime is falling apart, and with it the resistance that we've been fighting is coming apart also, especially with various Scientists coming out and stating plainly about the fraudulent nature of the 'global warming' scam. Conventional solar and wind energy systems are Done...they cannot turn over Net Revenue, and there's a Bill in the USA that will cut their Tax benefits and subsidies off completely.
Thus, only GENUINELY sustainable systems will get attention now, people are no longer willing to shoulder the cost for parasitic 'alternative energy' systems.

Sorry if I seem to be lacking my usual good humor, but I'm Furious with how you lost your home, and want to show you that things WILL get better, and will happen as fast as we can make them happen--we're not willing to waste ven a second regarding getting the facility built and operational. Because the sooner it's making power/$$$ the soonr we can Help.

They're looking into Learning Traditional Tea ceremony things, Fumiko and Mei. It's an interest of thirs how a simple little plant has become such an Integral aspect of Human culture and civilization.
Let's put it this way, they IMMEDIATELY identified the samovar in the movie 'On her majesty's secret service' with George Lazenbee.

    Kittiehz...yeah, they LOVE to 'help'.
Of course their 'help' usually means things take somewhat longer.

I been looking around the web for the last 3 weeks or so about tea ceremony, more specifically about the tea bowls. I've been a potter for 8 years or so. And I think I'll try to make a few. It can be interesting to take a seemingly simple form and turn that into something more.
