Without preamble, because I'm tired, have sinus meds shutting my brain down, nd am desperate for sleep this house really lives up to it's name now.
One dog, shortly after we adopted Eydi, a 135 Lb Timbersheepherd-Husky cross who acts like a self-appointed nanny-minder with kittens. His name is Achilles, name inspired as out neighbour's dog is named Hector, and they're best-buddies.
The Lynx babycat we wanted...
We got TWO baby Lynx, not one.
Skadi was the Boss of the litter and bonded with/looked out for the 'runt'...Artemis.
There was concern about splitting them up, so we dug out some $$ to cover travel expenses and two baby Lynx arrived.
To be Insta-Dopted by Georgina.
There was some worry with Artemis, but a Dedicated MommaLyx, who had started lactating for Eydis, made all the difference and Artemis quickly caught up to and Paced her sister in growth and such.
Both our baby Lynxies are now well into the 50+ Lb range, and absoluteely healthy--spoiled somewhat also.
Then along came Ulysses, an ex-streetcat who has NO issues with being an Indoor cat. He's missing most of an ear, an eye, has a (much improved) limping back leg, missing most of his tail, covered in old scars under his fur...and is a total sweetheart, often referred to as 'Marshmallow Cat'. He's the most un-demanding cat there is, he's just happy to have Nomz, laps and loves.
He gets plenty.
And a little while back... MK, aka 'Mouse Killer'--as he has such a dedication to battling computer mice.
1 Psychotic Kitten
1 Vastly outnumbered Dog who's just fine with the situation, and frequently ends up snoozing with kittiehz snuggled around and on top of him.
Next update I'll speak about the fact that there's rescued Hoomans now residing her, but I want to clear it all with them first--iz just Manners, right?
It' just a bloody good thing hubby bought this house and not the smaller one he had considered.
