I'm considering writing a story about Na'vi group (AVATAR) that end up on Earth!

I have the idea for a fanfic about Na'VI aacidentally getting to Earth hitching a ride on an alien Spacecraft in the present day as opposed to the future and having them crash landing in the Amazon basin. for the looks of things in the movie and other sources the atmospher of Pandoea is toxic to us humans because of a high concentration of noxius gases which the Navi and all other indigenous lifeforms have adapted to cope with but that they breath oxygen just as we do. Anyhow. I'd love to explore how they cope with an environment that they do not have the benefit of their neural link back home. I'd love to explore how they relate to the Amazonian tribes already there. As for sex is concerned specially between the 2 species given the inmnese size of the Na'vi I cannot fathom how any kind of interspecies sexual relationship would be possible without the aid of an Avatar which are still centuries away from being developed in this story. Well if anyone can cluie me in as to how it would be possible without the human not ending up killed or seriously killed in the process let me know, again I just cannot fathom it given their size.


This idea is up for grabs by the way, It is something thst I'd either like to write but if someone wants to use the plot described here or a similar one they are more than welcome too...

Excuse my cynicism, but I have heard this so much: Hey, I have a great idea for a story--it's about blah blah blah. Well, you know, in the end, you have to write the story. You may have the greatest idea for a story that's ever been thought, but in the end, the story must be written. And you will find few people who want to give the time and energy it takes to write your idea for a story. The best thing you can do is to attempt to write the story yourself. If it turns out to be rotten, that's okay--at least you have learned something about writing. Keep improving what you have written, and if you are serious about writing, you wil get better at it.

First let me say I'm a great fan of Avatar so I think it's a fantastic idea for a story. The problem is that writers generally have lots more story ideas than they can ever write. As you seem to be aware of its the writing that is the hard part for everyone including professionals. You could possibly get a ghost writer to do it for money but at our level most people have a difficult enough time getting their own ideas on what? I started to say paper. How quaint. On the screen or HD I guess. My advice is just start writing.

A sentence is a story. Jack and Jill went up the hill. See, that's a story. Then you keep telling people all about it until it's done. If you can write a sentence you can write a book. It's just a bunch of sentences strung together. I'd love to read it by the way but in all the time I've been here, I've never seen anyone take on writing someone else's idea. Besides, if I wrote it, then it would be my story and not yours. Go for it. Or start with a smaller project and work up to it. Peace.

If you want to write stories, just start writing. Don't worry about grammar, spelling or punctuation. Finish that one and write another. It's like anything else, practice, practice, practice. Rewrite a story every so often to see if it reads better. Notice I haven't said anything about posting a story here. If you come to enjoy writing, you'll have more than enough material to post.

Hi everyone sorry for taking so long to reply I had hit a snag in the fact there no Na'vi words for ant private parts so I went to fan website dedicated solely to the Na'vi language and someone knowledgeable of the language made up some words out of jest, they are strictly non canon but still based on the inflections of the language itself.
Here they are for anyone that may want to use them:
Vagina- Fnuetsikxä (cuz it sounds dirty)

Boob- Tsefya (boobs=metsefya)

Penis- Skapìlokx

Suck- Ngutsäpi

Push- pxlltseyì

Rub- Txllpxe

Face- Akxe

I will be using some of this words for my fic definitely and so can anyone that wants to write their Na'v/ human Navi/Na'vi fantasies etc.
