USA Moves Into History

During the early morning hours, the United States of America (USA) passed away quietly after a year-long battle with extreme Progressivism. Suffering from the ailment since its early years, the USA has fought valiantly to retain its health and vigor while facing a world of adversaries as well its own internal illness. With the USA at the time was its oldest offspring, The American Dream. Shortly after the passage of the USA, The American Dream also passed away, having lost its only place of security and nurture. The cause of death was listed as Extreme Entitlement Syndrome, a lack of hard work and loss of pride and intestinal fortitude.

At almost the same time, a new state was born. The United Socialist States of America (USSA) was brought into existence by a trained and well-honed group of Progressive/Socialists who took all and any extreme measures to assure its arrival. Some of the techniques used included threats, bribery, extreme stress and pain (otherwise known as political torture). Past (some still existing) examples of Socialist states include the USSR, current China, France and Sweeden. Only China, which has adopted some of the non-Socialist techniques of the now deceased USA have failed or proven to be insignificant.

Funeral arrangements for both the USA and The American Dream have not yet been provided but rumors abound that the body will be dissected and its various parts used to pay off accrued debt as well as yet to be determined Health Costs.

By the way, I don't agree with the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to the same degree you apparently don't agree with the Heath Care legislation just passed.

It will get much worse before the United States succumbs to the Marxist powers running rough shod over the people of this country. Wait for the immigration policy AMNESTY for the foreign invaders, the energy policy CAP and TAX and the list goes on. I believe we will see a move by Obama to severely restrict or ban firearms or at least come up with some BS to confiscate them in time of national emergency. Then he will create a national emergency and ask for UN peace keepers. He will need the UN because our military, when polled a couple of years ago,overwhelmingly said they would refuse to turn their weapons on armed US citizens. This will lead to a second civil war. It won't be North vs South, Red states vs Blue states, or even White vs Black vs Hispanic. It will be those that have (food,water,gas,clothing and anything else) vs those that don't have (been too busy waiting fir government hand outs. Obama's government won't do a thing except instigate the war.

The United States has been a bright light shining high on the hill. The society that every other nation wanted to reach and reap the rewards but they didn't make it. And the Marxist (Obama) realizes how unfair that is but he can't lift the other countries to our level. So he will tear us apart until we fall to their level. His idea of "SPREADING THE WEALTH" What about our allies ans our enemies? They will all be sitting and licking their chops like hungry vultures waiting to grab anything and everything they can.

This will lead the death of the United States of America. Out of the ashes two countries will arise. The United Socialist States Of America made up of mostly all the Blue state and the free hand out mentality. And the United Free States of America made up of the Red work for a living states. The USSA won't last long by itself. They won't be able to support all the free hand outs and they will be just another third world country begging for the UFSA to save their lazy worthless. asses. The UFSA will prosper because the America Dream is still alive and will do well if we can keep the Marxist government and the freeloading socialists out of the way.

No this is not the end, this is just the beginning. It will get much worse before it gets better. If you have anything you want to keep, be prepared to fight to defend it. After all Obama has demonstrated his belief that everyone has a right to what ever you have worked for.

What you describe is not the death of the USA, it died the other night. That is the growth of the USSA. Will it split and the USSA portion fall, maybe. Or will Obama or his successors be the dictator of the USSA or maybe the Emperor of the USSA. For Rome, it was external crisis that cost them the republic, for us, its the internal crisis of entitlement.

I take it you are young and have been raised in the Socialist school system that has existed for the past couple of decades where history, civics and moral values have no place and, in some instances, can be firing offenses if taught. Pure capitalism hit its peak in the 1880's and was curbed by the formation of unions and the passage of the anti-monopoly laws. The balance keeps things from going too far eigther way. Greed, arrogance, self-rightousness (I deserve, you don't) and progressive government interference have destroyed the balance. The latest was created by Clinton insisting that banks give mortgages to people who could not, in any way, pay them off. Thus, the current financial crisis. History has shown that Capitalism is not perfect (wait for the second coming for that) but allows freedom and accomplishment. What is coming down the pike leads to subversion, loss of freedom, crushing of innovation and, eventually, revolution. It's been tried before and all it cost was millions of lives. If you know history, you wouldn't want anything to do with a powerful centralized government that controls everything and dictates everything. Power in government will soon not come from the people but, as Mao said, from the gun. And American citizens will be on the receiving end of them. You will be told what to do, what to think, if you can live or not, if you can eat or not, what you will do for a living, how much of the government's resources you are worth. Some of what is happening now and is beginning to happen and will happen relatively soon reminds one of parts of the Book of Revelations in the Bible. Now I'm not a religious person, but I am familiar with the Bible--especially the New Testament and the book of Revelations. If you are not familiar with the book of Revelations in the Bible you should read it.

It is almost too late but if you haven't started to stock up on food, water and other necessary supplies you better hurry. Don't forget some way to protect what you have because the government won't be there to help you. You will be on your own. When the people show up and say we are from the government and we are here to help. Run like hell because they are there to help themselves to what ever you have and they want. The government's power is reached by making more people dependent on them and how much of our money they can steal. I don't think the gloom and doom of this thread is accurate - yet. I do believe that like Rome and England and Spain later, the American Empire is in decline and fall. I will freely admit that I haven't read Edward Gibbon's tome on the decline and fall of the Roman Empire.

We have elected officials who vote where the money is. We have governments at all levels spending deficit money with no way to balance income and outgo. We have a very large number of people retiring for the next 20-30 years and no way to pay benefits promised by law. We have the world's only ocean-going navy. When China or India get one, and they will, we will try to outspend them but won't be able to. The peace in Europe for the past 60 years won't last but we'll have to fulfill treaty obligations with money we don't have. We produce less than we buy. The enormous immigration pouring across our southern borders will require large social spending until they like every other immigrant group has but on a much bigger scale and will continue when the second and third generation have been integrated into society. We all know the dire predictions for running out of oil.

However, the United States of America will expire slowly and will still be of influence in the world for some time to come. My uneducated guess is that my grandchildren (if I have any) will have a life not as good as now. It will get worse thereafter.

Fred the invasion from the south is NOT like any other immigrant group in the history of the United States. First they KNOWINGLY and WILLINGLY violate our country's laws by their illegal entry into the country. Second every major influx of immigrant came to this country with the intent of becoming US citizens. The majority of Mexicans have no desire to become US citizens. Their desire is to milk our way of life for everything they can get and send it back to Mexico. That is proven by the fact that money and goods sent back to Mexico is the second highest source of income to the country. Only their oil sales bring in more money to Mexico. Further more most Mexican who do stay in the US legally or illegally do NOT integrate or assimilate into the US culture. Not the first second or even the third generations.

We need to secure our all of our borders and deport all the illegal immigrants. Then empty all of our prison systems of the foreign prisoners by shipping them back to their home countries. We should jail anyone who aids or abets the illegals in an attempt to enter this country. This will free up enough jobs to convert welfare into workfare. No work no eat. Save the assistance for the truly needy not the truly lazy.

Every sitting politician should be voted out of office and replaced with representatives who will truly represent the people he is elected to represent. We need term limits and a recall procedure for ALL elected officials. Make all levels of government answer to the PEOPLE before the second American Revolution begins.

Obama's minions seem to feel that absolutely nothing will overturn what's been done. They advertise that the Supremes will quote section 7, article 22-regulation of interstate business as the constitutional excuse that will keep Obamacare intact, however the requirement that every American be required to buy insurance-or else get fined-is unconstitutional.

States are also filing lawsuits against Obamacare because it will bankrupt the states. More on this later.

The conservative base is fired up as they haven't been in decades. Radio hosts are pushing that midterm elections and 2012 will allow conservatives to overturn Obamacare and repeal it, if voters see things their way.

Failing that, and if the Supremes side with the minions, if states face financial ruin, there is one final alternative, secession.

Of late, Austin Texas has become the anti Washington. If secession happens, Austin will be the center of the movement. Austin will be the new Washington. The rebirth of the America we know and love will be in a land where patriotism is a HUGE part of the culture, where people fly their flags without a reason, or holiday, and in a land that embraces legends, like Davy Crockett, Sam Houston, and Jim Bowie.

The effects of what is being enacted will not be fully felt until a year or so. But when milk suddenly goes up in price to $6.00 a gallon--then is when the shit is going to hit the fan. It is going to happen.The price of virtually everything is going to double. There will be a revolution in this country. But it will not be a revolution led by liberals or progressives; it will be a revolution by conservatives.This country will be transformed. The conservative majority will not put up with all the shit the liberals and progressives have tried to force down its throat. There is going to be a vast reaction. Hey Luckymann. I won't take up arms now, but I almost did during the Bush raping and destruction of our freedoms. I'm no socialist but maybe a pragmatist. The market place wasn't addressing the issues in healthcare, so the government is going to try. I agree, it will cost way too much, drive down the total quality of healthcare in the US and dis-incentivize future med school candidates and drug companies' R&D. But it will give people with no coverage some coverage.

I hope you don't see this as left-wing rhetoric because that's not what I intend. This country is on the downside. Are we witnesses to the Decline and Fall of the American Empire?

I don't disagree with you on the Bush administration. We haven't had a President that believed in America since Ronald Reagan, and he wasn't perfect.

I believe America will come through this latest attack on our freedoms. Unfortunately, I also believe it will take the spilling of blood to turn back the latest socialistic tide led by O'bamy and the Commiecrats. Don't think I see the Republicans as an answer either. The fat cats frome both entrenched parties need removed by any means at whatever cost. Then, with the institution of term limits, we can get back to citizen legislators our founding fathers meant us to have.

The paperless voting that has been shoved down our throats ensures an untrustworthy election no matter who wins. I believe it was Jefferson who said, when asked what kind of government they had given us replied. "A Republic, if you can keep it." There are only three types of people who could possibly support this type of a government power play. 1. someone who has never worked for a living, 2. a worthless no account, that believes it is perfectly okay to steal from hard working people with the governments help also known as a socialist, and 3. a fool. The government has NEVER run anything without screwing it up and has always driven UP the cost of anything it got involved with. Capitalism as the left defines it does not actually exist. The twisted caricature straw-man that they continually attack is as fictional as the tooth fairy.

What does exist is liberty, of which economic liberty is but one facet.

The only reason why government exists is to secure the rights of the citizens whose consent it derives authority from. Government has no inherent right to exist, nor does it possess inherent authority. Government is created by the people and it is from the people that it derives all power and authority.

When government fails to protect our rights and instead becomes a threat to those rights, it has forfeited any claim it ever had to legitimacy.

That's pretty much where the federal government is right now.

Luckily the people responsible for corrupting and perverting the government are also incompetent. The American people have gotten wise to them and will be removing them from power starting in November.
