Ummm....I'm sure one of the moderators will be able to help better.
But maybe finish up the story, and then just publish the whole thing.
Title says it all really.
I've nearly finished the first draft of my first story (well, first to be put online anyway), and lo and behold there's a 'Story Previews/Requests for comments' sub-forum.
But, lo and behold a second time, that sub-forum description says it's only for posting snippets of stories, not the whole thing.
While mine is not technically finished (need lots of revising, formatting, spell-checking, tightening up etc), it is reasonably long (around 300 lines and count) so hardly could count as a snippet either.
Help? :)

You might try Story Previews. Explain that it's a work in progress.

Hi Gerbil it will be fine in Story previews as its still work in progress or you could post it in the most appropriate section in the stories area and explain that it is still work in progress.

New members should read Attention New Members/Members with 0-50 posts as it explains the progression to full membership and the limitations until you reach 50.
Once you have reached you 50 posts upgrading is not automatic, so please visit my profile page and leave me a message.
I will process your upgrade you on my next visit or you can leave a message with either of the other Admins and they will look after you.
.
just subtitle it "A Work in Progress" and submit it
OK thanks for that, will post a bit up in a minute. Hope you can take a look and give me some constructive criticism. It's always a tense moment when you lose your (public stories) virginity :)
