    Great idea

The origins and development of erotic writing--especially the erotic writing and literature of the late eighteenth century and the nineteenth century as a whole--has been really neglected and overlooked. It would behoove a lot of writers of erotica of today to read and study not only the erotic stories and novels of the late eighteenth century and the nineteenth century as a whole, but the essays and articles which were written concerning erotica as well. If you read an erotic work of the late eighteenth century or the nineteenth century as a whole, you will be amazed at the literary quality of it. The writers of erotica in the late eighteenth century and the nineteenth century as a whole treated the subject of erotica in a serious manner. They tried their best as a whole to be literary in their writing. They generally treated and looked upon erotica as a branch of literature. This view of erotica as a branch of literature of course changed in the twentieth century--especially in the 1960s, which saw a literal explosion of poronographic writing, which is distinct from erotica (but I won't go into that at this this time, as it would take too long). Suffice it to say that erotic writing and literature was almost eclipsed and disappeared in the 1960s, and pornography in general came to the fore and has dominated ever since.

Landy, you are a good writer and I'm sure you will post something of quality.
I probably will not post a story myself on this subject because I simply don't write in that vein, but I'm sure others will. I will post short articles concerning the origens and beginnings of erotic writing.
